Gatefold records deserve a sleeve designed around the way they’re actually used.

These premium 12″ Gatefold Outer Sleeves are designed to protect double gatefold album jackets without getting in the way of your collection. The double-length, open-ended design allows you to open the gatefold and remove your records while keeping the protective sleeve in place.

That means less handling of the jacket and artwork, while still giving you easy access to the records inside. The open ends also make the sleeve simple to use when browsing, playing and returning records to your collection.

Made from crystal-clear 4mil Cast Polypropylene (CPP), these sleeves offer excellent clarity, durability and tear resistance, while remaining highly resistant to creasing. The high-gloss finish keeps the artwork looking sharp and display-ready without the cloudy appearance associated with lower-quality plastic sleeves.

The CPP material is also archival-safe and has passed the Photographic Activity Test (PAT) in accordance with ISO 18916, providing additional reassurance for collectors looking to protect album artwork and printed materials over the long term.

Designed for 12″ double gatefold jackets up to 6mm thick, including most older-style double gatefolds.

For particularly thick gatefold jackets, the manufacturer recommends stepping up to a 12.75″ sleeve. Sleeve dimensions have a tolerance of ±2mm.
