BIFFY CLYRO - FUTIQUE
Limited Edition White & Black Marble Vinyl
Biffy Clyro return with Futique, their tenth studio album and another expansive chapter in the story of one of Britain’s most enduring alternative rock bands. Released in September 2025, the album looks backwards and forwards at once, exploring memory, relationships and the fleeting nature of moments we rarely realise are happening for the last time.
The title Futique reflects the album’s central idea — the relationship between the things we remember and the things we are still yet to experience. It is a record concerned with time, nostalgia and the connections that survive it, themes that feel particularly fitting for a band now more than three decades into their journey together.
“A Little Love” opens the album with a huge, melodic rush of guitars and Simon Neil’s unmistakable vocals. “Hunting Season” and “Shot One” continue the momentum, while “True Believer” brings a more atmospheric edge. “Goodbye”adds another layer of emotional weight, exploring the difficulty of recognising when something has reached its natural ending.
The second half moves through “Friendshipping”, “Wow Is Me, Wow Is You” and “It’s Chemical!”, before building towards “A Thousand And One”, “Dearest Amygdala” and the closing “Two People In Love”. Throughout, Biffy Clyro balance the enormous riffs and dynamic arrangements of their arena-rock sound with a more reflective lyrical perspective.
Recorded with producer John Congleton, Futique continues Biffy Clyro’s long-standing ability to evolve without abandoning the restless energy that has defined them from the beginning. It is melodic, expansive and emotionally direct, with the band’s trademark intensity running through every track.
This edition is the limited indie-retailer exclusive pressing on 140g white and black marbled vinyl. The marbling process makes each copy visually unique, giving this pressing an especially distinctive place within the physical editions of Futique.
