ED SHEERAN - NO.6 COLLABORATIONS PROJECT

180g 45 RPM 2LP Black Vinyl

Ed Sheeran’s fourth studio album, No.6 Collaborations Project, expands the concept of his earlier No.5 Collaborations Project into a huge, genre-spanning collection of collaborations. Released in 2019, the album brings together artists from pop, hip-hop, grime, R&B and rock, creating one of the most eclectic records in Sheeran’s catalogue.

The album moves between huge chart hits and more unexpected pairings, from “I Don’t Care” with Justin Bieber and “Beautiful People” with Khalid to “Take Me Back to London” with Stormzy and “Remember the Name” featuring Eminem and 50 Cent. Elsewhere, Sheeran joins forces with Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Chance the Rapper, Travis Scott, Young Thug, J Hus, Dave, H.E.R., Ella Mai and Bruno Mars.

Rather than following a single musical direction, No.6 Collaborations Project feels like a snapshot of the contemporary music landscape at the height of Sheeran’s global success. The production moves freely between polished pop, rap, R&B and rock, while the rotating cast of collaborators keeps the album constantly shifting in character.

Pressed across two heavyweight 180g records and cut at 45 RPM, this edition gives the densely produced album room to breathe across four sides. For collectors, it represents an important chapter in Sheeran’s catalogue — an ambitious collaboration project that brought together some of the biggest names in contemporary music.
