EZRA COLLECTIVE - HERE BECAUSE OF HOPE

Vinyl LP – Personally Signed by the Entire Band, Featuring Handwritten Lyrics

Ezra Collective return with Here Because of Hope, an ambitious and deeply expressive album that celebrates the power of music to bring people together. Blending contemporary jazz with Afrobeat, soul, reggae, hip-hop and the infectious rhythms of London’s vibrant music scene, the band create a sound that is as emotionally resonant as it is impossible to sit still to.

Built around the idea that hope can emerge even in the face of hardship, the album explores the connections between people, cultures and generations. Across three distinct parts, Ezra Collective trace musical influences from West Africa through the Caribbean and back to London, weaving together different traditions into a cohesive and uplifting musical journey.

Featuring spoken-word contributions from Letitia Wright alongside guest appearances from Pa Salieu, Lila Iké, Leona Lewis and Libianca, Here Because of Hope brings a rich variety of voices and perspectives to the band’s unmistakable sound. The result is a record that balances thoughtful storytelling with joyful, dancefloor-ready arrangements, reaffirming Ezra Collective’s ability to make music that moves both the body and the spirit.

At the heart of the album is a powerful message of resilience and belief in better days ahead. The handwritten lyric “My Feet Will Land on Solid Ground” captures this sentiment beautifully, reflecting the album’s central themes of strength, renewal and the determination to keep moving forward.

This personally signed copy is made especially desirable for collectors, featuring signatures from the entire Ezra Collective band alongside the handwritten lyric. More than a copy of the album, it is a personal keepsake celebrating the musicians behind one of contemporary British jazz’s most exciting groups.
