HOLLY HUMBERSTONE - CRUEL WORLD
Indies Exclusive Pearl White Vinyl + Personally Signed Print
Holly Humberstone returns with Cruel World, her second studio album and a bold evolution of the intimate, atmospheric alternative pop that first established her as one of Britain's most distinctive young songwriters.
Released in April 2026, Cruel World finds Humberstone expanding her musical palette while retaining the emotional honesty that has become central to her work. The album moves through atmospheric electronics, guitars, layered production and understated melodies, creating a world that feels both dreamlike and deeply personal.
Across the record, Humberstone explores relationships, memory, growing up and the complicated emotions that come with finding your place in the world. Her songwriting remains conversational and confessional, but the production gives these intimate stories a larger, more cinematic setting.
The album opens with “So It Starts...” before moving through “Make It All Better”, “To Love Somebody” and the title track “Cruel World”. Elsewhere, “Die Happy”, “White Noise” and “Lucy” explore the record's darker emotional edges, while “Red Chevy”, “Drunk Dialling” and “Peachy” bring vivid snapshots of relationships and everyday life.
Pressed on Indies Exclusive Pearl White vinyl, this particular edition is especially appealing to collectors. This copy is accompanied by a personally signed print, approximately 12" × 12", supplied through Banquet Records as part of their signed edition.
The combination of the distinctive pearl white pressing and personally signed memorabilia makes this a particularly collectable edition of Humberstone's second album — bringing together a striking physical pressing with a piece of artist-signed material directly associated with the release.
Cruel World captures Holly Humberstone continuing to grow into her sound without losing the vulnerability that made her early work so compelling: atmospheric, emotionally direct and unmistakably her own.
