JADE BIRD - DIFFERENT KINDS OF LIGHT
Signed Sleeve Edition – Double Vinyl LP
With Different Kinds of Light, British singer-songwriter Jade Bird expanded the sound and storytelling of her self-titled debut, delivering a confident second album that explores love, identity, personal history and the complicated emotions that connect us.
Released in August 2021, the record was produced by acclaimed producer Dave Cobb and recorded in Nashville, bringing a richer, more expansive rock sound to Bird’s sharp songwriting and distinctive vocals.
Across its 15 tracks, the album moves between introspective folk-rock, alternative pop and bold, guitar-driven songwriting. From the urgency of Headstart and the atmospheric title track to the restless energy of Houdini and the emotional depth of Rely On, Different Kinds of Light captures an artist developing her own musical identity while drawing on the traditions of British alternative rock and American roots music.
This copy is the signed sleeve edition, adding a personal connection to an album that marked an important step in Jade Bird’s career. Her signature makes it a particularly appealing piece for fans who have followed her journey from her early releases through to her more expansive studio work.
A distinctive addition for collectors of contemporary British singer-songwriters, alternative folk-rock and signed music memorabilia.
