JADE BIRD - WHO WANTS TO TALK ABOUT LOVE
Third Studio Album · Limited Red Coloured Vinyl
With Who Wants To Talk About Love, Jade Bird turns her attention towards one of songwriting's oldest subjects and approaches it from almost every possible angle. Love, heartbreak, attraction, doubt, acceptance and the strange ways relationships can reshape us all sit at the centre of her third studio album.
Released in 2025, the record finds Bird exploring a more expansive side of her sound. The rootsy folk and Americana foundations remain, but they're joined by bigger pop melodies and more atmospheric production, creating an album that feels both intimate and ambitious.
The opening “Stick Around” sets the tone, before “Nobody” and the title track “Who Wants” move between confidence and vulnerability. “Avalanche” and “Dreams” explore the more fragile side of love, while “Save Your Tears” and “Glad You Did” bring a brighter energy to the record.
At the heart of the album is Bird's desire to understand what makes love so powerful, addictive and complicated. Rather than presenting simple answers, the songs feel like an ongoing conversation — questioning what we want from other people, what we're willing to give and what remains when relationships change.
The album closes with “Somebody New” and “Wish You Well”, bringing the record towards a sense of acceptance after all the uncertainty that came before.
Pressed on limited red coloured vinyl, this edition gives Bird's third album a striking physical presentation and adds another chapter to the catalogue of an artist who continues to move comfortably between folk, country, rock and modern pop.
