KACEY MUSGRAVES - MIDDLE OF NOWHERE
Whiskey-Coloured Vinyl + Signed Art Card
Kacey Musgraves returns to her Texas roots with Middle of Nowhere, her sixth studio album and a record that feels made for dusty dance floors, two-stepping and long drives through wide-open country.
Released in May 2026, the album draws deeply from the traditions of Texas dancehall and classic country, while allowing Musgraves' songwriting to wander into neighbouring territories including Norteño and Zydeco. The result is an album that feels familiar without being nostalgic for nostalgia's sake — classic country ingredients filtered through Kacey's unmistakable modern perspective.
The title track sets the tone, while “Dry Spell”, “Back On The Wagon” and “I Believe In Ghosts” showcase Musgraves' characteristic ability to find humour, vulnerability and emotional truth in everyday experiences. The album also features an impressive collection of guests, including Gregory Alan Isakov, Billy Strings, Miranda Lambert and Willie Nelson.
“Coyote” brings Isakov into the record's wide-open landscape, while “Everybody Wants To Be A Cowboy” and “Horses and Divorces” lean into the album's playful relationship with country mythology. “Uncertain, TX”, featuring Willie Nelson, adds an especially significant connection to the musical traditions that have shaped Musgraves' career.
Across its 13 tracks, Middle of Nowhere balances classic country instrumentation and dancehall spirit with the wit, warmth and sharply observed storytelling that have become synonymous with Kacey Musgraves.
This particular edition is the Polydor Store exclusive Whiskey-Coloured Vinyl, accompanied by a signed art card. The combination of distinctive coloured vinyl and signed memorabilia makes it a particularly appealing version for collectors, while remaining a beautifully presented physical edition of the album.
