KEO - PUT A SMILE ON FOR ME
Black Vinyl LP – Signed by the Band, Featuring Handwritten Lyrics
KEO make their debut with Put A Smile On For Me, a raw and emotionally exposed record that captures the turbulence of love, guilt and self-destruction. Blending grunge-soaked guitars, shoegaze atmospheres and explosive alternative rock, the London four-piece deliver a collection that feels immediate, unfiltered and unapologetically honest.
Across eleven tracks, the band explore the messy realities of relationships, the weight of difficult emotions and the moments when vulnerability gives way to confrontation. There is a restless energy running throughout the album, balancing abrasive guitar textures and powerful hooks with songwriting that refuses to shy away from uncomfortable truths.
Written and recorded over an intense ten-day period, Put A Smile On For Me captures KEO at a defining moment in their journey. The album retains the rough edges and intensity of their early sound while showcasing the confidence of a band finding its own voice. From the explosive single That's Me to the reflective tension of Bird On The Wire, the record moves between moments of release and introspection.
Pressed on classic black vinyl, this personally signed copy offers something extra for fans and collectors. Signed by the band and featuring the handwritten lyric “Be happy if that stuffs true”, it carries a personal connection to the music and the people behind it. The handwritten words add a distinctive touch, reflecting the album's candid approach to emotion and the uncertainty that often sits beneath the surface.
For collectors of emerging alternative music, this signed edition captures KEO at the beginning of their album journey: direct, vulnerable and full of raw energy.
