NOAH KAHAN - STICK SEASON
Limited Edition · Chestnut Brown Coloured 2LP
There are albums that arrive with a hit single, and then there are albums that seem to capture a particular moment in people's lives. Stick Season is very much the latter.
Noah Kahan's third studio album marked a defining shift in his sound, moving away from his earlier pop influences and towards the raw, intimate folk songwriting that would become his signature. Written around the landscapes, isolation and changing seasons of his Vermont upbringing, the album turns everyday observations into songs that feel remarkably personal.
The title track became Kahan's breakthrough moment, while “Northern Attitude”, “All My Love”, “She Calls Me Back”, “Orange Juice” and “The View Between Villages” helped establish the album as a modern folk favourite.
What makes Stick Season particularly compelling is its honesty. Relationships, home, growing older, regret, nostalgia and the uncomfortable process of figuring yourself out all sit alongside warm acoustic arrangements and Kahan's distinctive voice.
This limited edition 2LP pressing is presented on Chestnut Brown coloured vinyl, giving one of the defining folk albums of the 2020s a fittingly earthy physical edition. Originally released in 2022, this edition was issued in February 2024 and contains the core 14-track album across four sides.
