NOAH KAHAN - THE GREAT DIVIDE
Translucent Beer Bottle Vinyl 2LP – Featuring Signed Art Card
Noah Kahan returns with The Great Divide, his highly anticipated fourth studio album and a deeply personal record exploring family, friendship, home and the emotional distance that can grow between people. Rooted in Kahan's relationship with his native Vermont, the album turns inward, reflecting on the people and places that have shaped him and the things left unsaid between them.
Produced by longtime collaborator Gabe Simon, alongside Aaron Dessner, The Great Divide continues the intimate, folk-inspired songwriting that has become synonymous with Kahan's music. The record expands on the emotional world established by Stick Season, but feels more reflective and mature, examining memory, connection and the complicated process of understanding where you come from.
Across seventeen tracks, Kahan moves between quiet introspection and expansive, emotionally charged arrangements. The title track The Great Divide sits at the heart of the album, while songs including End of August, American Cars, Haircut and Porch Light explore different aspects of relationships, nostalgia and the passage of time.
The album's central idea is beautifully summed up by Kahan himself: a divide can form from long periods of silence, creating distance between the people we once felt closest to. Rather than leaving those feelings unspoken, The Great Divide turns them into songs — personal, honest and deeply rooted in the places and relationships that matter most.
This edition is pressed on striking Translucent Beer Bottle coloured vinyl, spread across two LPs. The translucent effect gives the records a distinctive collector's appearance, with each pressing having its own subtle variations. This particular copy is made even more special by the inclusion of a signed art card, adding a personal collectible element to one of Noah Kahan's most anticipated releases.
