SABRINA CARPENTER - SHORT N' SWEET
Limited Edition Light Sky Blue Marbled Vinyl
Sabrina Carpenter’s sixth studio album, Short n' Sweet, is a sharply written, irresistibly catchy pop record that captures the singer at the point where her playful songwriting, distinctive personality and effortless vocal style fully came together.
Released in August 2024, the album is packed with songs that balance flirtation, humour and vulnerability. “Taste” opens with immediate confidence, while “Please Please Please” and “Good Graces” showcase Carpenter’s knack for turning complicated relationships into brilliantly concise pop songs.
The record moves effortlessly between retro-inspired production, contemporary pop and country-tinged songwriting. “Sharpest Tool”, “Coincidence” and “Bed Chem” lean into the album’s cheekier side, while “Dumb & Poetic” and “Lie To Girls” reveal a more reflective and cutting edge to Carpenter’s writing.
At the centre of the album is “Espresso”, the global hit that became a defining moment in Carpenter’s career. Its breezy groove and instantly recognisable chorus perfectly capture the confident, tongue-in-cheek character running throughout Short n' Sweet.
The album closes with “Don't Smile”, bringing a slightly more bittersweet edge to a record that otherwise embraces fun, confidence and romantic chaos. Across just twelve tracks, Carpenter manages to create a remarkably complete pop statement — polished, playful and packed with personality.
This edition is pressed on limited Light Sky blue marbled vinyl, housed in a gatefold sleeve with a printed inner sleeve and fold-out poster. The distinctive coloured pressing makes it a particularly attractive physical edition for collectors of Carpenter’s rapidly expanding catalogue.
